Congestion Control in Networks

This paper presents the overview of congestion control in networks. The present day networks are used for transferring various kinds of data. Congestion control is one of the basic issue in networks. Congestion control deals with reducing the traffic in the sub net so the better throughput can be achieved. This paper deals with various techniques and algorithms used to control congestion. It also survey the recent work done in the area of congestion control.
