Menopause occurs at the natural end of every woman's reproductive life. Not all women experience symptoms prior to or following menopause, which is defined as the time when a woman has naturally ceased having menstrual periods for one year. More and more women, every day, are turning to natural alternative treatments to treat the symptoms they experience during menopause including hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings, pain during intercourse, increased anxiety or irritability, and the need to urinate more often.
