A Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on Knowledge of Cardiac Patients regarding Cardiac Rehabilitation in Selected Hospitals at Bangalore

The study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge of cardiac patients regarding cardiac rehabilitation. The sample consisted of 40 Cardiac patients were selected by convenience sampling technique. It Was one group Pretest Posttest design. The reliability of the tool assessed by split half method r=0.81. The study findings showed that there was singnificant increase in post test knowledge score on cardiac rehabilitation among cardiac patients t ’ value was 39.565 which was significant at p< 0.05. The calculated ‘t ’ value is greater than the table value, which was significant at p< 0.05 level.
