Abstract

Specific, accurate, precise and simple ratio spectra 1^st derivative spectrophotometric method was developed for simultaneous determination of HCTZ and RMPL from their binary mixture. For ratio spectra derivative spectrophotometry, the amplitudes were measured at 210.6 for RMPL and the difference in amplitudes at 224.7 and 231 nm were measured for the determination of HCTZ. Commercial tablet formulations and laboratory prepared mixtures were successfully analyzed using the developed methods.
