Abstract

A simple and efficient experimental procedure for the synthesis of novel pyridazinone derivatives containing 5-mercaptoTetrazole moiety was developed in the presence of several Aryl/alkyl halides and sodium hydride using Dry tetrahydrofuran (as a solvent). The structures of the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by 1HNMR, IR, LCMS data, elemental analysis and melting point.

Abstract

New macrocyclic qudaridendate (N₄) Schiff base complexes have been synthesized by the template effect of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) metal ions on thiourea and acetylacetone. These complexes were found to be octahedral with two additional aqua ligands in the case Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes and distorted octahedral with two chlorine ligands in the case Cu(II) complexes. They have been characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, IR, UV-visible and antimicrobial activity studies.
