A field experiment was conducted at Dry land Research Station, M.A.U., Parbhani. During 2003-04 and 2004-05 in vertisols with application of organics and inorganics sources of nutrients under different cropping system such as soybean-pigeonpea and sorghum-pigeonpea. After these two cycle, as regards to transformation patterns the added phosphorus was found to be converted to various phosphate fractions. Among the different fractions, maximum phosphorus was found in the form of Org-P followed by Ca-P, Rs-P , Fe-P , Al-P, Sal-P and Occl-P. With increasing phosphorus levels there was sizable build up in all phosphorus fractions.Keywords

A field experiment was conducted at Dry land Research Station,Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani during 2003-04 and 2004-05 in Vertisol with application of organics and inorganics sources of nutrients under different cropping system viz., soybean-pigeonpea and sorghum-pigeonpea. The results revealed that, all nitrogen fractions like total hydrolysable nitrogen., amino acid nitrogen, organic ammonium nitrogen, acid insoluble nitrogen and total nitrogen were increased significantly in all treatment combinations. The combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers caused significant increase in available nutrient status of soil. The relationship as simple and multiple regressions between available N and different N fractions was interdependent to each other.Keywords

A long term field experiment on sorghum–sunflower cropping sequence was conducted at Marathwada Agriculture University, Parbhani from 1997-2001 on vertisols to study integrated nutrient management with inorganic fertilizers in conjunction with organic sources (farm yard manure, wheat straw, green manure, press mud, compost). Pooled data of 1997-1998 to 2000-2001 in respect of grain yield indicated that substitution of 50% recommended N through organic sources (FYM / PMC / WS / GM) and 100% recommended NPK dose and micronutrient dose through inorganic fertilizer to sorghum resulted in higher grain productivity in sorghum–sunflower sequence cropping.Keywords

A field experiment was conducted in the plot no. A -8 at college farm Department of Agronomy, VNMAU, Parbhani during Rabi season of year 2001-2002 .The experiment was laid in a split plot design with 16 treatment combination. Four levels of each potassium and sulphur were taken each treatment was replicated three times. From these experiment the results concluded that the concentration of N, P and S was increased at 60kg S ha-1 in plant. The K concentration was recorded at 75 kg K2O ha-1 level . The uptake of N, P, K and S increased with the increasing levels of K and S.Keywords

A field experiment was conducted in the plot no. A -8 at college farm Department of Agronomy, VNMAU, Parbhani during Rabi season of year 2001-2002 .The experiment was laid in a split plot design with 16 treatment combination. Four levels of each potassium and sulphur were taken each treatment was replicated three times. The quality parameter i.e. oil content, oil yield and crude protein content of groundnut kernel also showed significant response to potassium and sulphur levels. The response in term of pod and kernel yield was maximum at 50 kg k2O /ha.Keywords
