Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Eurasian Security through Cooperation

Literature on collective security has been growing. But a significant hole in it has remained. However, the emergence of a new regional grouping that aimed at the Eurasian security called Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) under China and Russia throws a new perspective on the multifaceted nature of the global security system. Hence, the book is important and timely. It consists of four chapters. The author discusses the historical antecedents, as well as the legal and organizational structure of the SCO in the first three chapters. The major crux of his work lies in the last chapter covering retrospect and prospects of the SCO.
