In the Millennium Declaration in September 2000 in New York, 190 countries agreed to achieve the Millennium Goals by 2015. The urgent need for countries, particularly the developing countries, to effectively and speedily respond to major important issues was also felt. One of them is the issue of capacity development. It is the topic of the times. Since the end of the World War II and start of decolonization, it has been the centerpiece of international development assistance. This book covers this important subject and its techniques for increasing organizational strength. The author thinks that it is hot and high on the agenda of development agencies.
