Requisite Qualities of a Rural Field Investigator

The author has worked for the last thirty years as a field investigator in rural areas on various survey projects undertaken by the Gokhale Institute. He started on this career as a young man who had no college or even high school education, but had thorough background knowledge of the economic and social life of the rural community.
