Trend in Real Wages in Cotton Textile Mills in Bombay City and Island, from 1900 to 1951

In this paper, an attempt has been made to derive the trend in the real wages of the operatives employed in the cotton textile mills in Bombay City and Island. It is desirable, at the outset, to lay down what the scope of this work does not include.
