Osteogenesis Imperfecta! Is there a Perfect Plan?
Osteogenesis Imperfecta is a hereditary disease due to molecular mutations in collagen. Type 1 is the most common with blue sclera, recurrent fractures and cardiopulmonary dysfunctions. Pre-anaesthetic work-up is of utmost importance for successful outcome of the surgery.
