A Difficult Airway Management of an Adult with Huge Parotid Swelling for Excision
Huge masses around face and neck can be challenging in terms of assisting ventilation via bag and mask and securing airway. A complete pre-operative assessment and preparation of patient may predict ease of intubation.aA huge neck mass is a risk factor for difficult airway during induction of anesthesia and has been reported in studies. As in this, the patient is intubated with use of stylet by direct laryngoscopy.
