Rescue Measure in Intracranial Meningioma Resection by Tranexamic Acid
Blood loss is often a major complication in neurosurgery that requires transfusion of multiple units of blood. We report intraoperative use of tranexamic acid to secure complete haemostasis as rescue measure in intracranial meningioma resection in uncontrollable bleeding.
