A Comparative Study of Intrathecal Hyperbaric Bupivacaine with Neostigmine and Hyperbaric Bupivacaine with Normal Saline for Lower Abdominal and Lower Limb Surgeries

Hyperbaric bupivacaine is the most common drug used for Spinal anaesthesia. Adjuvants added to Bupivacaine produce a better quality sensory and motor block. Intrathecal neostigmine has been shown to prolong duration of sensory blockade and prolongs postoperative analgesia.
