Introduced Herbivores and their Management in the Andaman Islands

Introduced species, i.e. species transported beyond their natural range by human modes, have been increasingly recognized as a major threat to biodiversity conservation in India. The negative impact of non-native species, that become invasive by establishing and spreading over new territory, has received management attention in recent years.
