Recent Observations of Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide over India
Carbon dioxide (CO2) plays a significant role in the global biogeochemical carbon cycle. The atmospheric concentration of CO2 has increased by 40% from a preindustrial level of 278 ppm in 1750 to 390.5 ppm in 2011, as a consequence of various anthropogenic activities.
