Study on the Influence of Downstream Slope Ratio on Seismic Response of Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam

Concrete face rock-fill dam is a very important type of dam, in order to deeply understand the dynamic response characteristics of concrete faced rock-fill dam under earthquake, improves the design level of concrete face rock-fill dam. This paper adopts anisotropic and rock-fill thin-layer element to simulate the interface of the panel and rock-fill, by changing the slope ratio, comparative analysis is made respectively on the panel and the dam stress and acceleration by three-dimensional finite element numerical calculation program, in order to provide certain reference value to the design of concrete face rock-fill dam. The research results show that the change of the downstream slope angle has a certain influence on the seismic response of the concrete face rock-fill dam, but the impact is very small. So in the design of the concrete face rock-fill dam, such as to meet the conditions of stability, should as far as possible with a steeper slope for economic reasons.
