Open-Pit Mine Safety Monitoring Based on Binocular Vision

This paper presents a real-time video monitoring technology based on binocular stereo vision technology, using multiple sets of binocular camera to the image acquisition, analysis, processing for any targets which in the open-pit mine security area. Then we get the physical coordinates of the targets, acting of regional security early warning for staff fixed with the targets, this greatly improved the security of the staff working in the open-pit mine.
