The Metaphorical Theory of Hui-Style New Architecture

From the inherent elements of the Huizhou traditional building, this paper discusses the influence of the building metaphor on the Huizhou traditional architecture; analyses architectural metaphor design methods of Hui-style new building in architectural form and decoration; and gain The architecture metaphor is the renewal and reconstruction of regional culture which is not a simple “copy” of traditional visual symbols. It is important significance to inherit and promoting Hui-style architectural connotation, continuation of Huizhou culture, and reference of new Hui-style architectural design.
