Research on the Construction of Waterfront Ecological City Under Low-Carbon Perspective-Reflection of the Planning and Construction of Lu’an City

Combined with the realities of Lu’an City, corresponding exploration is conducted aiming at the hot issues in current urban construction. Firstly, the connotation of low carbon economy and ecological city is analyzed and then the philosophy of low-carbon ecological city is proposed, explaining the organization structure and essential connotation of low-carbon ecological city. Finally, combined with the waterfront ecological construction status in Lu’an City, the position of the nature and direction of future development in Lu’an City is established, which is to develop low carbon economy and build waterfront ecological city.
