Abstract

This paper presented with the comparative study of flexural behavior of fibre reinforced concrete using recycled aggregates with quarry dust replacement, for reducing cost of concrete and also to meet the demand, locally available waste materials such as quarry dust and recycled materials have been utilized in concrete. To study enhancement of compression test, split tensile strength, flexural strength and modulus of elasticity due to the addition of polypropylene fibres and recycled aggregates with replacement of crusher dust in concrete. The results are obtained the maximum value at a replacement level of 0.5% (S4) of fibers with recycled aggregates and quarry dust which is in compressive strength 28.88 N/mm² and 33.62 N/mm² for 7 days and 28 days respectively, the split tensile strength of concrete reached 1.638 N/mm² and 2.34 N/mm² for 28 days respectively and the flexural strength of concrete beams attains maximum value 14 kN and 54 kN for initial crack load and Ultimate load respectively.
