Anti-Theft Door Arrangement with Implementation of Built-In Passive Infrared Sensor

This paper presents the security arrangement for door implemented with built-in Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor based motion detector. This system protects our home or office from the unauthorized access of thief and also the intruder image can be monitor by an IP camera. We have interfaced both IP camera and PIR sensors into an embedded system, which can be connected to a server. It provides enough intelligence relating to the intrusion. This, in turn, can be used as electronic lock for domestic use and also as a monitoring system.
