An Overview of Social Network in Cloud Computing Threats to Privacy

The development of the cloud service model delivers business-supporting technology more efficiently than ever before. The shift from server to service-based thinking is transforming the way technology departments think about, design, and deliver computing technology and applications. Social networks are used to reflect real world relationships that allow users to share information and form connections between one another, essentially creating dynamic Virtual Organizations. The Nature of Social networks and Cloud computing, users are starting to explore new ways to interact with, and exploit these developing paradigms. At an unprecedented pace, cloud computing has simultaneously transformed business and government, and created new security challenges. We propose leveraging the pre-established trust formed through friend relationships within a Social network to form a dynamic “Social Cloud”, enabling friends to share resources within the context of a Social network. This paper outlines we will discuss what these dangers are and how to use these sites more safely.
