Alert Controlling Structure using Android Hand Held Device

This paper proposes to create a Security measures in an organisation using Android based mobile device to provide security alert and prevention system. The main objective is to provide the physical security for the employees, because employees are the major asset of an organization. This security mechanism is also used to prevent the loss of physical assets of an organization. This Security mechanism includes common alert system for individuals, ability to search for emergency request team, emergency path search, fire extinguisher search and calling to an emergency team on easy access that can be accessed from anywhere and around the organization’s environment. If any unexpected accident happens in an organization, the administrator triggers the alarm to employees, so the persons inside the building may know the actual reason of the alarm. This alarm is not triggered to the entire department in an organization. The alarm is triggered only to the departments which are in danger zone. Employee can also alert administrator by uploading the images to the server which will handle Short Message Service and mailing functionalities. Client can also update the server by sending the information regarding the current location and about the current situation. This type of alert system reduces the ambiguity in case of emergency situation. This alert system makes employee feel safe and ease during the unexpected situation happening inside the organization. If any unusual things happening in the outside of the organization, administrator immediately sends the information to the clients in the form Short Message Services. Employees in the one region can be alerted from any other region if the organization and the organization’s employees is equipped with this security and alert system.
