The project objective is to develop an equivalent model of a part of a power system based on PMU measurement. Here we need to monitor power system stabilizer speed by using wide area monitor, for this purpose we are injecting pseudo random binary sequence as a input to generator 1 and we are getting the speed deviation signal as output. To monitor the wide area system in this project non linear estimation technique it is based on Hammerstein wiener model. In this project kundur's two area four machine system is used , Kundur's Two-Area Four-Machine (TAFM) system consisting of two fully symmetrical areas linked together by two 220 km, 230 kV transmission lines is considered as case study in this paper. This power system typically is used to study the low frequency electromechanical oscillations of a large interconnected system.
