This paper deals a high-performance torque and flux control strategy for high-power induction motor drives. This method implemented with higher order of 81 levels. Due to the high output quality of the inverter, the torque response presents nearly no ripple. In addition, switching losses are greatly reduced since 80% of the power is delivered by the high-power cell of the asymmetric inverter, which commutates at fundamental frequency. The simulation of this paper can be carried out by using Simulink of the MATLAB software. In this paper the multilevel inverter which produces the higher level sinusoidal output waveform with zero percentage distortion. Also there is no need of any filter needed for filtering the output waveform.
