A Novel dSPACE Based Identification and Control of DC-DC Boost Converter for Open Loop Response Using Neuro Controller

In this paper, the mathematical model of state space equations have been developed for boost converter in open loop system. The set point tracking and the regulatory responses over the entire operating range is controlled by PID controller, and also the performance of boost converter and startup behavior has been analyzed for open loop response using PID controller. The neuro controller is designed using NARMA-L2 control and the performance of proposed controller has been analyzed for error convergence,validation data, training data, testing data in the plant model. The proposed controller was implemented in dSPACE software. Finally,the performance of the proposed system was evaluated by with and without conventional PID controller.
