Anti Clutter refers to improvement of the resolution in time domain, frequency domain and space direction angle. Anti Jamming means to ensure that the radar receives as much as possible of the target echo power and rejects as much as possible of the jamming power passing through antenna. ECCM is one of the divisions of the radar field called electronic warfare. The ECCM improvement factor was conceived to be a means for representing the performance of an ECCM technique in the analysis of radar performance in an electronic warfare environment. ECCM capability is one of the most important functions of radar but there is no simple and generalized method for measuring it. There are some methods which are already used for measuring ECCM capability. But due to some disadvantages in determining ECCM capability a new method has been adopted that depends only on the radar technical parameter which includes resolution and transmitted power and ECCM specifications. The only way to represent radar resolution is by using ambiguity function. This paper presents Ambiguity Functions for different types of radars. The resolution is used to determine anticlutter capability and the product of power and resolution can be used to express generalized ECCM capability. Here ECCM capabilities for different types of radars will be compared.
