Nano Technology in Renewable Energy

Present crisis in the area of energy distribution, pollution control, population as an power increase, economic crises and demand and supply of food and materials are closely interrelated. It is realized that they demand a felt quick and logical approach to deal with situation (Dabrase.et.al. 2000). The advantages to environmental and human health, producing green-clean, renewable and sustainable energy which creates new green collar manufacturing and technical industrial jobs, from providing raw materials, the action of large-scale production and developing new power facilities. The total renewable industry produces best economic uplift the grate opportunities that build and good communities (S.E.S 2010). A increment of usage of energy on yearly basis 5 % which result to fuel depletion, a main cause for increase in pollution level and related disasters. This already visualized in terms of limited reserves of coal, oil, and gas which may last only for 186, 29, and 45 years respectively (Dabrase.et.al. 2000). For 25-kilowatt-electric (kWe) solar dish Stirling system technology that simply absorbs the energy from the sun and converts it into high grid quality energy. The Sun Catcher technology needs no fuel and having no emissions, and uses less water than other solar technologies; providing a good, efficient, reliable source of energy (SES -2010). Nanomaterials have outstanding use in making more efficient solar cells and catalysts that can be used in hydrogen-powered fuel cells which are of the size of a 10-9m.The union of sun catcher and hydrogen fuel cell process of converting sun’s energy into electricity which is used in electrolysis of water separated into hydrogen and oxygen through which the hydrogen fuel is used in fuel cell and other forms of changing energies. The conclusion drawn facts the efforts be made to from the above topic is that should increase the use of renewable sources of energy and decrease the use of non renewable resources. Existing renewable resources are available in abundance. It has been seen that most available renewable energy resources are used in the production of the other forms of energy which makes energy system high efficient and economical. Wind energy produces more clean, safe and efficient form of energy. They are available in the market and are being highly utilized in European countries. The modern technologies in renewable resources are very encouraging but a lot more research and infrastructure is required before it can be put the action (Taneja.2007).
