An efficient method for optimizing the power output of solar panel is proposed. The solar panel is tilted suitably and automatically in the direction of Sunlight. An electric stepper motor of low power is employed. Based of the required output voltage from the solar panel, the best position of solar panel is determined.

The embedded software is installed in the PIC microcontroller, with which the controller finds the best position. The stepper motor is controlled by the PIC microcontroller. This works similar to the action of sunflower. The goal of the system is to make it suitable for industry and home applications. The Solar panel comes reset position after Sun set, and the load will be operated by the battery backup.
