The major problem today is the “power demand” that hurdles our day to day life to a great extent. It creates much problem almost in every area including industries and household applications and act as a huge blow to our national economy. With the rising demand for fuel and the less availability of the source of energy, the power generation is greatly affected and thus finding new, cheap, and efficient source for the power harvesting is of utmost importance. At present, a great deal of research effort has been directed to find eco-friendly and renewable sources of energy. Popular renewable energy sources such as hydropower, solar power and wind power require massive financial investments, give comparatively much lower power output, and have a low scale of efficiency. This has also led to the search for alternate methods of transforming the various forms of energy into electrical form. In recent years, there has been growing interest in harnessing the power of mechanical vibrations and pressure to generate electricity. In this paper the power extraction from the mechanical vibration produced by the surplus industrial noise which is often considered as waste and a source of pollution, is discussed. For this conversion, the most popular microphone technique is used. This paper proposes a noise to electricity conversion panel in which number of permanent magnets with coil arrangement, thermal resistance sheet and elastic vibration enhancing materials are used for the conversion of industrial noise to the required electricity.
