Design and Fabrication of ACETAL Based Plastic Spring

This is an innovative paper which replaces spring steel with plastic material (Delrin P500). Design and fabrication of this plastic spring is based on FEM analysis and the result of FEM is compared with theoretical analysis using design data formulas. The result is found to be perfectly alright. Fabricated plastic spring is tested practically and again result is perfectly alright.
