Wireless body area network is one of the applications of wireless sensor networks. BAN plays a vital role. It is also called as Body Area Network (or) Body Sensor Network. Body Sensor Network is mainly used to monitor the activities of the patient’s health with the help of sensor. BSN is used in different fields like medical treatment, social welfare and sports etc., In this paper, we discuss about BSNs, challenges in BSN and security issues in BSN.
