Fire-Alarming Application Model for the Internet of Things
Subscribe/Renew Journal
The Internet of things (IoT) has to be considered as a global infrastructure helping to connect different types of objects by benefiting from the captured data and their communication capabilities, if any. All existing and new networks are included to be part of this IoT infrastructure. IoT provides unique identification of the connected objects and their virtual representation to be the basis for independent development of services and applications. These objects will be characterized by self-governing data capture, event transfer, network connectivity and interoperability. Today, there are a huge number of applications in different fields for the internet of things. The Internet of Things applications make people life more easy, and they can be useful in a lot of fields, such as, in smart home, smart logistics, smart transportation, smart health care, smart agriculture, etc.. In this paper, a software model for fire-alarming application is proposed. The fire-alarming application is based on the improved seven-layer architecture. This fire-alarming application is explained in details in this paper, where the developed model is applied to different case studies and the results are presented and discussed.
