Cost Optimized Resource Provisioning in Cloud Computing Environments

An Optimal solution of resource provisioning cost in cloud computing has received considerable attention recently to facilitate cloud resources and services provisioning on an on demand basis to users and multiple providers. A key difficulty in optimization under uncertainty is in dealing with an uncertainty problem that is huge and frequently leads to very large-scale optimization of resource provisioning models. This problem leads difficulty to achieve an optimal solution of resource provisioning cost in cloud computing. The proposed resource optimization model is used for formulating and solving stochastic integer program to minimize the cloud consumer’s total provisioning cost. In this model, Benders decomposition, and sample average approximation are considered to obtain optimal resource provisioning cost.

Abstract
