Chaotic oscillators have immense potential for application in ultra wide band (UWB) communication [1]. One possibility for obtaining high frequency chaotic circuits is to use nanoscale devices like the memristor [2, 3].In this paper, we demonstrate that a simple electronic circuit based on a memristor switching model can generate ultra wide band chaotic signals. Oscillator structures, simulations and chaotic attractors are presented. The physical circuit is implemented and compared with Matlab results. The chaotic behavior is proved using several test cases such as; determining the route to chaos, calculating and plotting the lyapunov exponents, plotting chaotic attractors and ifurcation diagrams. Simulations results showed excellent properties of spectrum, auto and cross correlation which makes this chaotic generator suitable for UWB applications.
