An Outline on Key Aspects of WBAN for Numerous Applications

Technological advancement in sensors and wireless communication has lead to the development of wireless sensor networks. One of the most important applications of sensor networks is for monitoring of vital functions of human body.  A number of tiny wireless sensors placed on the human body create a Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) that can collect    the various signs and provide feedback to the user and medical personnel. In these networks tiny and low power sensor nodes are placed on the human body. They are used for healthcare, entertainment and military applications. The purpose of this study is to introduce WBAN to the reader. Though the system has significant benefits, still it has challenges which are investigated in this paper.
