Wireless communication is the transfer of information between two or more persons without any inclusion of wires. These technologies use radio waves. There are many types of wireless communication which are made to use nowadays. This type of communications permits long distance communication which are not possible with the help of wires like twisted pair, co-axial, and fiber optics. The history of wireless communication starts from the early 17th centuries. Till date it grows significantly in our day to day lives. Some of the wireless devices that we use in our day to day life are Mobile phones, Landline phones, microphone, etc. Through mobile phones with the help of network carrier and provider we will be able to talk to anyone in this world so easily, for any number of times, for unlimited time. It has made convenient to pass the message so fastly, and we can be up to date. At early times twisted wires were used for landlines to pass the data into signals and pass through wires to the other person, but later on, the technology has brought in the usage of wireless telephones or cordless telephone.

Some of the other application of the radio wireless technology is applicable to broadcast television, satellite television, etc. Wireless communication is also possible by electromagnetic waves. The wireless technology got more famous by the year of 2000s, due to the advanced introduction to the technologies like LTE, LTE- Advanced, WI-FI, Bluetooth.
