The Internet of Things (IoT) is an interconnected computing device of mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals, or humans that have a unique identifier and are capable of transforming data over a network. The Internet of Things offers the potential to completely change the way we think about the next generation. The Internet of Things consists of all web-enabled devices that use built-in sensors, processors, and communication hardware to collect, transmit, and process data obtained from their surroundings. IoT devices are usually connected to an IP network on the global Internet. Commercial Internet of Things where local communication is usually Bluetooth or Ethernet (wired or wireless). The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network with built-in physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other electronic devices, software, sensors, actuators, and network connections that allow these objects to connect and exchange data. Everything can be uniquely identified by the embedded computing system. Internet of Things (IoT), also known as Internet of Everything (IoE).
