Military service is one of the most discussed common applications in mobile ad hoc networks, and it is impossible to install fixed infrastructure in enemy territory or in desolate terrain. In this environment, MANET immediately provides the necessary communication mechanisms. Here soldiers are considered mobile nodes. So even if the soldiers move freely, the network must be connected. This support is provided by MANET. The main purpose of this article is to study the security objectives, security issues, and various types of active and passive attacks in MANET.
