Electoral Politics in the South-East Punjab During 1946

Election process is a medium in which the people have rights to choose their leaders. In this process various contestants contest elections in their constituencies on the basis of certain issues and problems. They do every possible effort to win the faith of the people. The candidates who are able to win the faith of the people in the name of welfare of society are accepted and those who fail in this effort are rejected by the people through the process of elections.
