Gender Differences in Physical Aggression, Verbal Aggression, and Peer Pressure among Students

The primary aim of the present study was to examine the gender differences in physical aggression, verbal aggression, and peer pressure. The sample was comprised of 400 students (200 boys and 200 girls) in the age range of 10-16 years. The Aggression Questionnaire by Buss and Perry (1992) and Peer Pressure Questionnaire by Singh and Saini (2010) were used to assess physical aggression, verbal aggression and peer pressure respectively. The findings indicated that there was a significant gender difference in physical aggression, verbal aggression and peer pressure. on was found missing in case of girls.
