The tools used to measure the variables were Assertiveness Questionnaire developed by Erickson, Noonan, McCall, and Monroe (2015) and Self-esteem Scale developed by Rosenberg (1965). The data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation and the *t* test. The results of this study indicated that there is a significant relationship between assertiveness and self-esteem among adolescent students. It is further found that adolescent boys have higher assertiveness and higher self-esteem than Adolescent girls.
