Learners are important component of teaching-learning process. It is very important to understand the behaviour exhibited by learners everyday; in various activities specially the learning behaviour. Learning gets influenced by the learners' interest in the content taught, their readiness, their chronological age, social and emotional factors and cognitive aspects. Various parts of brain help in different forms of learning. Similarly, mind which is different from brain also influences learning. This paper discusses the role of brain and its parts in learning, role of mind in learning and combined role of mind and brain in learning.
