Women Empowerment is a burning topic in today's world. With the spread of education, women are asserting their rights. The Constitution of India does not discriminate people on the basis of gender. Besides the legal framework pertaining to women's safety and rights in the Indian Constitution, the government has also initiated many schemes and campaigns for women empowerment within the country. This paper aims to discuss about India's legal framework to empower women.
