Problematic smartphone usage and sleep disorders are worldwide issues today, especially among the young generation. Smartphone users may experience a range of physical, psychological, or social impairments due to unhealthy smartphone usage. The widespread use of smartphones has sparked worries about the negative effects of problematic smartphone use, particularly sleep issues, which are more common in younger people. A review of recent studies on problematic smartphone use and sleep is provided in this article. Problematic smartphone use lowers the quality of sleep, so it is preferable to avoid its use.
