This paper deals with the End-to-End recovery issue into switched networks. It o®ers a solution to support and to recover link/node failure as well into a domain as between domains. The main work is done by speci¯c nodes called PCE(Path Computation Elements), which are deployed once by domain and which should collaborate in order to establish a backup Tunnel that bypassed a point of failure. The proposed mechanism uses a computation procedure presented into [RFC 5298] and known as BRPC (Backward Recursive PCE-based Computation) in order to achieve End-to-end tra±c restoration without care on failure location, heterogeneity and autonomy of crossed areas. Experimental results gives an idea about opportunity given by the proposed solution in terms of e±ciency and time recovery compared to parallel approaches, regardless divergences of autonomous systems that can be crossed to reach destination.
