Analysis of Single Span Prestressed Concrete Beams Using Different Methods

In this paper the displacement behavior of single span pre stressed concrete beams have been studied numerically by different methods. Six pre stress concrete beams with parabolic curve cable profile for different amount of pre stressing force were analyzed by Macaulay’s method, Matrix method (STAAD.PRO) and FEA method. The results of all these three methods are compared with each other.
