Sustainable Development of Ainachiwadi Village in Patan Tahsil by Using Locally Available Material for Construction of Road

A road is constructed for connecting the village Ainachiwadi in Patan taluka of Satara district to the nearest Major District Road (MDR) 56. The village Ainachiwadi has a population of 560 as per population census 2001 of collector office Satara. Ainachiwadi is situated about 27 kms towards west of Patan tahasil village. As per core network of Patan block, link No. L-139 joining MDR 56 and Ainachiwadi village has the road length of 1.02 kms. The road passes through hilly/mountainous terrain and the average rainfall of this area is about 1500mm. Due to this road village Ainachiwadi is connected to MDR 56. Because of this road people in the vicinity of village get essential access to local markets, health centre, bus stand, school & colleges which are situated in Koyana town. People also get access to various social services that are available in Patan which is connected to Koyana. Before the construction of this road the farmer didn't have proper access to the market for selling their vegetables, milk & goods, which are their source of earning.
