Three phase voltage selector systems do not have voltage regulators incorporated in them and are usually expensive. The 500W AVR-based three phase voltage selector system is a quality, low cost system which automatically regulates the selected phase voltage, while allowing constant power supply to be delivered to the load. The system is designed and developed using components such as auto transformers which does the voltage regulation and high power relays which carry out the function of switching between phases. The system gives an output voltage of 200V to 240V from an input voltage range of 160V to 270V, hence providing uninterrupted power supply to equipment.

Abstract

Three phase voltage selector systems do not have voltage regulators incorporated in them and are usually expensive. The 500W AVR-based three phase voltage selector system is a quality, low cost system which automatically regulates the selected phase voltage, while allowing constant power supply to be delivered to the load. The system is designed and developed using components such as auto transformers which does the voltage regulation and high power relays which carry out the function of switching between phases. The system gives an output voltage of 200V to 240V from an input voltage range of 160V to 270V, hence providing uninterrupted power supply to equipment.
